​​Valve Working on CS:GO TV?

According to former Team VeryGames CS:S captain Loïc "RegnaM" Péron, Valve has been working on GOTV, presumably a spectator client or special spectator mode designed for watching eSports matches of CS:GO, for some time with the input of pro players and expect to launch it in time for the ESWC finals early next month.

RegnaM claimed as much in the chat for ESPTV, the Twitch account associated with a new eSports website that launched just over a week ago, ESPlanet, saying he has been "working with Valve" on GOTV and that it is "coming for ESWC". You can see their article here along with a screencap of the chat log in question.

It's not much more than a rumor at this point, but an exciting one at that! As anyone who has watched any of the recent eSports matches for CS:GO at DreamHack Valencia or other events, CS:GO's spectator mode leaves quite a lot to be desired from a pure spectator standpoint and the advent of GOTV could be exactly what the game needs to really push it into being a popular spectator sport. Once we know more of any official word on GOTV we'll let you know!
